Featuring:
Holaday Mason is the author of Towards the Forest and two chapbooks: Light Spilling From Its Own Cup and Interlude. Her poems appear in multiple publications, and she sometimes serves as Beyond Baroque’s artist in residence.
Douglas Richardson is the author of the poetry collections Sugar Fish and Out in the Cold, Cold Day. A third book of poems and a novel are awaiting publication.
Amelie Frank founded The Sacred Beverage Press with poet Matthew Niblock and produced the acclaimed literary journal Blue Satellite. She is the author of five poetry collections and has featured at most of the key venues of Southern California.
Sabrina Edwards’ work has appeared in poeticdiversity: the litzine of Los Angeles, Heart in the Balance, and Heroin Love Songs. Her debut chapbook is PsychoBabEL.

Da’ Poetry Lounge is the biggest Spoken Word venue in the nation. This year at the Book Fair Brutha Gimel and Steve Pargamanik present to you some of the awesome poets from Da’ Lounge, as well as the musical sounds of Sandbloom.

DIME STORIES
DimeStories are three-minute stories told by the original authors. Both seductive and tiny, DimeStories are funny. They’re heartwrenching. They’re fictional or factual but, either way, they’re all true. At the Book Fair, DimeStories authors will perform a live showcase. The stories’ themes will be funny, poignant and thoughtful, providing entertainment for everyone. www.dimestories.org

LATE NIGHT SNACK
is an interdisciplinary event that regularly mixes, matches, and sets side by side a cross-section of arts and artists,
So far, LATE NIGHT SNACK has presented 100 or more artists and performers, working in and with literature, dance, film, performance art, music, theater, theory, criticism, and more.
The Hosts:
Harold Abramowitz has published several books and chapbooks including the forthcoming, Not Blessed. He co-edits the short-form literary press eohippus labs, and co-curates Late Night Snack.
Matthew Timmons is a writer, editor, curator and critic who has published several books, including the recent chapbook, Lip Service.
The Performers:
Amanda Ackerman is co-editor of the press eohippus labs and writes as part of the collective SAM OR SAMANTHA YAMS. Her published work includes the forthcoming chapbook, The Seasons Cemented.
Liz Hansen is a playwright turned TV writer turned prose writer. She is writing her first novel.
Andrew Maxwell is a linguist and taxonomist at Google Inc. He edited the poetry journal The Germ and, with Joseph Mosconi and Ara Shirinyan, reconstituted the Poetic Research Bureau in East Los Angeles in 2008. His work has appeared in English and French magazines.
Laura Steenberge is a performer whose interests include contrabass, piano, just intonation, public speaking, children, and cognitive science. She is currently working on a series of projects designed to trick people into learning harmonic relations found in the overtone series.

POEMELEON READS
Poemeleon: A Journal of Poetry publishes poems, reviews, interviews, and essays twice per year, with each issue focusing on a different kind of poetry: poetry of place, ekphrastic poetry, poems in form, prose poems, the persona poem, humor, with the October issue focusing on gender (and the current issue devoted to humor). Poemelon is hosting their annual reading at the West Hollywood Book Fair. Poemelon will also host its Mystery Box contest at the Book Fair: http://www.poemeleon.org.

INDIVIDUAL READINGS
Featuring:
Robert Krut is the author of The Spider Sermons (BlazeVOX, 2009). His poetry has appeared in a wide variety of journals, including Blackbird, The Mid-American Review, The American Literary Review, and many more. He teaches in the Writing Program at the University of California at Santa Barbara.
John Tottenham is a noted contemporary poet, based in Los Angeles. He is the author of the cult classic, The Inertia Variations, an epic poetic cycle on the subject of work-avoidance, indolence and self-thwarted promise,from which he will be reading. The musician Matt Johnson (otherwise known as ‘The The’) is currently working on a multi-media interpretation of the Inertias.
