Save the Date! Celebrated Authors, Food, and Festivities at the City of West Hollywood’s Seventh Annual Book Fair on Sunday, September 28, 2008

WEST HOLLYWOOD - The City of West Hollywood and LA Weekly present the multiple, award-winning West Hollywood Book Fair that will take place on Sunday, September 28, 2008 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at West Hollywood Park, 647 North San Vicente Boulevard in West Hollywood. The West Hollywood Book Fair will feature stages with more than 400 celebrated authors, artists and performers appearing on panels and as special guests, storytelling, poetry and theatrical performances and writing workshops. The West Hollywood Book Fair is one of Southern California’s largest, most eclectic literary events attracting over 25,000 readers and writers of all ages and interests. Numerous Southern California book sellers and literary non-profit organizations will exhibit at the West Hollywood Book Fair.The West Hollywood Book Fair will also feature diverse programming for all ages and interests including teens; Seniors; members of the LGBT community; a Kids’ Stage and activities for families with children; Russian speaking authors; poetry and performance stages; a Comics Scene; a People and Politics stage; entertainment and mystery panels and a variety of other attractions. For new writers, the West Hollywood Book Fair offers panels that include tips from industry professionals on subjects such as preparing for publishing.
