The West Hollywood Book Fair will feature stages with more than 300 celebrated authors and artists appearing on panels and as special guests, storytelling, poetry and theatrical performances and writing workshops. The West Hollywood Book Fair is one of Southern California’s most eclectic literary events attracting over 20,000 readers and writers of all ages and interests. Numerous Southern California book sellers and literary non-profit organizations will exhibit at the West Hollywood Book Fair.

The West Hollywood Book Fair will also feature diverse programming for all ages and interests including teens; Seniors; members of the LGBT community; a Kid’s Stage and activities for families with children; Russian speaking authors; poetry and performance stages; a Whole Foods Cooking Stage; a Comics Scene; a People and Politics stage; entertainment and mystery panels and a variety of other attractions. For new writers, the West Hollywood Book Fair offers panels that include tips from industry professionals on subjects such as preparing for publishing.

This year’s Book Fair artist will be Ronald Kurniawan. Ronald Kurniawan is a Los Angeles area artist who will create an original work of art for the West Hollywood Book Fair’s “Fall Into Reading” theme. Ronald Kurniawan graduated with honors from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. Inspired by ideograms, syllables, letterforms, beasts and heroic landscapes with the belief that the sublime and nuclear age could coexist, he paints romantic environments and breaks the quiet scene with juxtaposed imagery taking the shape of icons and letterforms.
